The late Chip Bean was one of the best fisherman I've ever known. We spent many great days trolling for King in Southeast Alaska. This was the best fish we caught on a four king day! Thanks Chip I'm sure if there is fishing in heaven your at it right now!
I Silver salmon on a 7 weight fly rod is one of the great experiences in my fly fishing life. You got to do it!
Chum salmon are bruisers, when you see one in the stream next to, even a Silver, they are impressive, and their teeth--Jaws!
Snag'm in the mouth! That's the only legal way to do it. We googled the fish up but the photos weren't as important. I'm still looking for the photo.
