Brown
Rainbow

I catch a few rainbows on the Provo river.  Most of them close to Deer Creek reservoir.

Clear creek and Fish creek near Grandpa Parkers old homested in Joseph always product rainbow.

Salt Creek near Nephi was the place for a boy to grow up on planted rainbows.

Strawberry, Scofield, and Deer Creek reservoir have yielded me many rainbow over the years.

The Provo River is my home water.  I grew up fishing the lower Provo.  I now live in Heber City, Utah and fish middle Provo at least once a week all year.  This is my best since I started taking pictures.  It's a 22' 11" female, on a rapala minnow.

99% of the fish I catch on the Provo are native browns!

This picture is actually a Snake River cutt from Wyoming.  Utah has a lot of Bear River cutt in Strawberry, and I have caught one in the Provo river as well.  The rivers have another strain of cutt that I'm not sure what it is.  I'm going to catch one this year and photograph it.  My Bear River cutt is an ugly photo.

This brooky is one of my best all-time fish.  He is a 22"12" 6-7 pound monster off the Boulder mountains!

Lake
Splake

The Lake Trout I caught was in Wyoming.  I caught it fishing with Dan Winder on Yellowstone late near Jackson Hole!

The Boulder mountains are full of Splake, that where I caught mine.
